Beta Release!


We've officially made it out of alpha! All the features in my scope have been coded, and the game is shaping up to be everything I hoped for. For once, everything is going according to plan!

So, what's next for the game? First of all, I need to iron out the balance in these levels! Some testers say they're too easy, some testers say they're too hard, I overall just need more data to find out what works and what doesn't. Beta will be primarily a balancing phase for the game.

Since the game is near its final state in terms of features, I have turned on the option to donate when you download the game. I've sunk a lot of time and money into this project, so if you're in a position where you can afford to be buying video games, donations would be greatly appreciated! However, as always, donations are optional, and those without the means to donate are able to download the game for free :)

Next step for me will be searching for more testers and doing a small marketing push. We'll see how long it takes to balance out everything, and when it seems like each level has the perfect difficulty, we'll do an official launch!

Changelog:

  • Creeps now drop less paint, forcing the player to be more careful about their tower placement rather than the tedious task of micromanaging too many towers at once.
  • The bonus levels are now all slightly harder.
